Alice Duke

Alice Cox Swatzell Duke quietly passed away on September 17, 2015 at the age of 95. She was a resident of Portland, TN where she attended Highland Seventh Day Adventist Church. Alice was a former resident of Sand Lake, MI area for several years. She was preceded in death by husbands, Lola Swatzell and Marcus Duke, daughter Deloris Jean Zimmerman & husband Phillip, son Steven Alexander Swatzell, brother Lewis Paul Cox & wife Margret Upchurch, Sister Evelyn Strickler & husband Ray. She has three surviving sons, Robert Swatzell & wife Linda, of Clarksdale, MS, James Swatzell & wife Diane of Argo, AL, Dave Swatzell & wife Susan of Portland, TN and Daughter in law Char Zimmerman of Sand Lake, MI. Sixteen Grand Children, and twenty-nine Great Grand Children.She will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery, Kingwood, WV.NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION 615-256-1605
