Anita Corwin

Mrs. Anita L. (Brundage) Corwin passed unexpectedly Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 after suffering a stroke.  Born November 17, 1946 to Harry and Marie (Hopkins) Brundage in Port Allegany, PA, Anita graduated from Port Allegany High School, Class of 1964 and married Robert F. Corwin Sr December 31 of that same year.  She was also a graduate of Jamestown Community College, earning her nursing degree and worked at both Saint Francis and Olean General Hospitals as well as the Olean Medical Group.  Prior to moving to Goodlettsville, TN, Anita and Bob raised their three girls in Portville, NY.  She played an active part in her daughters' lives, co-leading Blue Birds and participating as a marching band booster for many years through Portville Central School, among other various activities.  Anita was predeceased by her husband Robert Sr, daughter Tina Louise, stepson Robert Jr, a sister and two brothers.  Her legacy continues with, sister Marjorie (Robert) Hults, Port Allegany, PA, stepson Gregory (Rhonda) Corwin, Goodlettsville, TN, daughter Jamie Corwin, White House, TN, daughter Tamie Moshier, Goodlettsville, TN and daughter Danielle (Stanley) Franklin, Wellsville, NY along with 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and greats.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made, in the name of Anita, to one of the following:  local anti-bullying coalition, local mental health services, local Alive Hospice facility or the Forensic Anthropology Center located at the University of Tennessee.
