Anne Longley

Anne Hayes Longley, 82, died peacefully in Franklin TN on September 10. She was an avid reader, a trivia genius and enjoyed many happy summers at her beloved cabin on Lake Ocoee. Anne was a lifelong Cleveland resident until moving to be near her daughers. She was the daughter of the late Claxton and Elizabeth Ledford Goodner, and Wallace Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, former State Senator Ben Longley, and is survived by daughters Beth Thorneycroft, and Lauren (Paul) Steves. At her request, there will be no memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that remembrances be donated to her beloved Tennessee Wesleyan University. www.CallNFC.com
