Ayumi Jones

October 11, 1960 — September 11, 2020

It is with immense sorrow that the family of Ayumi June Jones announces that she has passed away, too soon, at the age of 59 on September 11 , 2020. June is survived by her heartbroken husband of 19 years, Michael Jones, 17-year-old loving son, Gage Jones, Mother- Katherine Matsu Ritchie and Father- Yoshio Inada, her 3 sisters- Toni Kihara, Rose Knight and Keiko Inada. June had 6 nieces , 3 nephews, in -laws and numerous other family members. June had many friends and fellow nurses from multiple hospitals in Nashville, Hendersonvil le and Portland, TN. June will be incredibly missed. June was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1960 and moved to the United States with her mother and older sister when she was 8 years old. June heeded the call to care for others when she was 18 years old working as Admitting Clerk at the Nashville Mem orial Emergency Department. June went to TSU and Vol State while working 2 jobs to get her Nursing degree and graduated in 1989. June was a Registered Nurse in 3 Emergency Room Departments for 35 years and saved countless lives both literally and figuratively. June was the strongest, kindest, most loving and self-less person you could ever meet. June was also multi-talented, playing guitar, pian o, banjo- and had the voice of an angel when she sang. June was also an accomplished artist in her drawings, paintings and ceramics. June was always taking pictures of everyone, documenting her whole life in pictures, videos and in her writing. June was a strong Christian and loved God and her family above all else. June was ve ry organized and thorough, always weighing out every decision she ever made with a list of pros and consequences. June never walked through life blindly, she always had a plan for everything-herself and her family. June met the love of her life in Hendersonville, TN in 1999 while working out at the gym. June was very fitness oriented and so was Michael . They made the perfect pair. June and Michael were wed in Kuai, Hawaii May 10, 2001 and their son Gage was born in 2002 . Gage is now a freshman in college and cared for his mother the last year of her life. June and Michael's love affair can only be described as a fairy tale. Things were not perfect but their love for one another was perfect. The world is a little darker without her smile. June was a true angel on Earth and now she is an Angel in Heaven.
