Billy Sanders

Billy Edd Sanders, 86, was born in Clarksville, TN on August 13, 1934 to Annie Mae Shelton Sanders and Roy Edd Sanders. He passed away peacefully on December 4, 2020 with his family by his side.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Annie Sanders, sister Mary Lee Nix and brothers Charles Irving Sanders & Leonard Sanders. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lavon Sanders, daughters Debby Vaughn, Pam Patrick and Angela Sanders, and son Roger Sanders, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many friends.

Billy graduated from Coopertown HS. He served in the National Guard and then four years in the Air Force as an ACFT Radio Repairman. He retired from State Industries & a local Packaging company after 52 years.

Billy was very active with karaoke, bowling, fishing and many other sports throughout his life. He loved singing and did so every chance he got. A Celebration of Life will be held for Billy at a future date.

Special Thanks to the Nashville VA Hospital doctors and nurses for taking such great care of Billy during his battle with COVID-19. He will be missed until we see him again. Rest in peace, we love you!
