Charles Edward Schuchardt Jr.

On Saturday December 7, 2024, Charles Edward Schuchardt Jr., loving husband, son, & father of three children, and grandfather of four, passed away at the age of 57.

Charles was born on August 8, 1967, in Springfield, IL, to Charles and Barbara (Bukley) Schuchardt Sr.. On September 3rd, 1992, he married Melody Ann Bell. They raised one son and two daughters: Kameron, Gretchen, and Rebecca.

Charles (Chuck) was an Army National Guard Veteran of 20 plus years. He was a truck driver most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, canoeing and most of all sitting around the campfire. He was a man of many talents. He was known to be the life of the party and truly one of a kind. To know him was to love him. His most favorite title of all was PaPa.

Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Schuchardt Sr. and sister Debbie Hudgins. He is survived by his wife Melody, his three children, Kameron, Gretchen (John) Hayes, Rebecca (Brandon Crouch) Schuchardt, all from Paris. Along with four grandchildren: Elaina, Maddie, Liam & Brynlea; his parents Harold (Barbara) Jones; and two sisters, Maureen (Tommy)Thompson and Megan (Derick) Hickman; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at the VFW, 2512 East Wood St., Paris, TN, 38242. Services will be held from 12-2 pm.
