“Steve”November 21, 1937- June 16, 2019Charles dedicated his life to service. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served for 30 years.Charles fought in Vietnam and retired as E-9 Master Chief, the highest rank an enlisted man can achieve.He spent his career based in San Diego CA and the West Coast.After retirement in 1985 he spent time enjoying life at Martinez Lake AZ.In 1989 he and his wife Brenda decided to move to his hometown, Nashville TN and settled in Hendersonville TN.Bored with retirement, Charles started working at the Hendersonville Post Office part time, eventually becoming A full timeRural carrier and worked 22 years. Charles hobbies included, traveling to AZ, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.If you were his friend you knew it and were lucky and so was he….
