Christina Schmidt, age 32 of Nashville, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her residence.
"Sis", as she was known to her family, was born February 3, 1983 in Flint, MI. She was the daughter of Joyce Wright Schmidt of Grand Blanc, MI and Thomas Schmidt, Sr of Ontario, Canada.
Chrissy will be remembered for her heart of gold. She loved working with children and caring for animals. Her generosity, sense of humor and infectious laugh will be missed by those who loved her.
She had a passion for travel and adventure, seconded only by her love for her family and Savior. She enjoyed spending time with friends, especially when they gathered to play BUNCO. Chrissy was determined, possibly even a little stubborn, in her ideas and opinions, but her kindness and love always prevailed.
Her sense of adventure, and love of country music, led her to relocate to Nashville several years ago. With that in mind, she will be laid to rest at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in a private ceremony.
Her family will gather for a celebration of her life on Thursday, January 28 at the Crosspoint Church DREAM CENTER at 4007 Delaware, Nashville, TN 37209. Visitation will begin at 10:30AM with services to begin at 11:00 AM.
In addition to her mother and father, Sis is survived by her brother: Tom "Tommy" Schmidt, Jr; and maternal grandmother: Elizabeth Wright; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in Chrissy's honor to her family at Cross Point Community Church.
