Clara Ruth (Smith) Coleman, age 73 of Madison, passed away on November 5, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. Clara entered this life on May 14, 1948, in Orlando, Florida.
Clara received her cosmetology license from Hume Fogg High School in Nashville, Tennessee. She spent her life caring for her clients over the next 50 plus years. She also worked customer service at Walmart for over 25 years. Clara was generous to a fault for anyone she met in need. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Her greatest hobby was spoiling her great nephews Riley and Grayson. Clara resided with Kendra and Matthew Oakes and their children Riley and Grayson, whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Ruth (Jones) Stansberry; stepfather, George Melvin Stansberry, and brother, John Steven Smith.
She is survived by her closest and loving friend for over 30 years, Joe Formosa. Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Joseph Wayne (Elaine) Smith, Hailey Edmond Smith, and Thomas Alan (Susan) Smith; sister, Sandra Lee (Timothy) Pangborn; nieces, Stacy (Ricky) Stewart, Jennifer (Jason) Mosely, Kendra (Matt) Oakes, Melissa Smith, Carly Smith, Lexi (Chance) Oliver, and Christina (Trevor) Skaggs; and nephews, Chris (Kim) Smith, Joseph (Tara) Smith, Mike (Jana) Smith, and Thomas Pangborn.
