Deborah Taylor

Mrs. Deborah Grace Taylor, age 58 of Murfreesboro, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro.Deborah was a native of Cannon County, TN and was the daughter of the late Thomas Elmer and Magaline Bly Merritt. Although she had worked outside the home, her most recent “career” was that of “Mother” to her two sons, and “Loving Wife” to her husband, with whom she had shared life experiences over the past 30 years.Deborah loved her kids and animals. She will be remembered for her care and compassion of others, often talking about how she wanted to help people in need. She had a tender and trusting spirit and found the best in humanity. She was still trusting enough to be willing to pick up a hitchhiker and help them toward their destination.She is survived by her husband: Fred J. Taylor of Murfreesboro; two sons: Joshua Taylor of Goodlettsville and Jonathan Taylor of Murfreesboro; and two sisters: Paulette Potter and Janice Graham, both of Woodbury.Celebrations for Deborah’s life will be private family events.
