Diana Mae Gibson

After a lengthy illness, Diana Mae Gibson, 63, went to her eternal reward on October 29, 2023. She was a faithful member of the Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ. Visitation will be there (2699 Old Clarksville Pike, Ashland City, Tennessee) from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, November 3. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m.

Diana was born in Goshen, Indiana on August 5, 1960. She lived in about two dozen places in her first 30 years, but she finally settled in Tennessee. She loved her little cabin in the woods in Huntingdon and the church family and community friends she had there. And in the last two years, she was blessed beyond measure to live in Ashland City and be a part of the Sycamore Chapel family.

Diana was a caring, compassionate soul. Although she had a degree in interior design, she chose to spend several years as a caregiver to terminally ill patients. Then she became activities director at Harmony Hill, brightening the lives of her “people.” After more than a dozen years, she moved on to Vantage Point to spread her special brand of cheer there. From decorating for the holidays to celebrating birthdays, from listening to client’s stories to being there when no one else would be… Diana gave her all to making life better for others.

Diana is survived by her son Matthew and son Curtis and wife Talesia; grandson Grayson Kennedy Vaughn; her parents Kenneth and Barbara; one sister, April and husband Tom; and one brother, Michael and wife Vicky. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray funeral expenses to
