Doris Haynes

Doris passed away peacefully at Tennova Hospital, at the age of 83, with family by her side.She was survived by a son Michael Anderson, and three daughters, Juanita (Terry) Jennette, Anita (Herb) Holder, and Terry (Kenny) Burba. There are nine grandchildren, Terry Jennette, Joe Jennette, Nelda Kilpatrick, Mike Anderson, Jeff Carter, Monica Lame, Alex Lame, Cassie Lame and Carrie Burba. She also had several great, and great great grandchildren. She was proceed in death by her husband, Willie Haynes, two sisters Juanita, Katherine, and brother Arthur.She was a waitress in her early years, and a homemaker the rest of the time. Doris was a 30 year breast cancer survivor, and even though she suffered with mental illness she never let that dampen her spirits. She was strong willed and allowed nothing stand in her way. She lived a very long and full life.A memorial service will be held July 29th at 2pm, at Emmanual Pentecostal Church of Christ, 3963 Perkins Rd, Thompson Station, TN 37179, with a small reception to follow.Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
