Doris Keihn

Doris “Elaine” Keihn was called home to the lord on August 14th, 2015. She passed peacefully in her home in Gallatin, TN. She was the first born daughter of Don and Bessie Carey. She was born on February 19th, 1942 in Muncie, IN, where she spent most of her life. She loved to travel and cook, and she loved her children, grand children, and great grand children. Most importantly she loved the lord. She was preceded in death by her husband William Lowell Keihn. She is survived by her two sisters Louella New and Sara Carey, her four children Cindy Meer, Becky Sanborn and Tim Sanborn (husband), Bernie Meer and Donna Meer (wife), Lucy Strunk and Ronnie Strunk (husband), her grand children Heather Jackobs, Courtney Meer, Brittany Martinez, Donnie Varner, and Daniel Strunk. She also had eight great grand children. She was especially proud of the newest Kasen Jay. She spent the last several years in Gallatin, TN with her daughter Cindy, who was her caretaker. She was an active member of her church, The Lord’s Sanctuary, where she was baptized. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, August 19th at The Lord’s Sanctuary in Gallatin, TN. Burial service will be held at a later time at Elmridge Cemetary, in Muncie, IN
