Doug Dixon

Mr. Douglas Wade Dixon, age 59 of Madison, TN passed away April 5, 2018 at his residence.A native of Birmingham, AL, he was the son of Hayden Dixon and Peggy Jean Bess Pentecost. Doug was an iron worker and served his country in the United States Naval Reserves.With military honors provided by the United States Navy, Doug will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 12 at 2:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery on McCrory Lane in Nashville.In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his wife: Deborah Elaine Hargrove Dixon; a daughter: Debbie Jean Dixon; and siblings: Martha Elizabeth Smith, Johnny Lee Dixon, Wanda Darlene Dixon Dugan, Edward Raymond Dixon and Virginia Renee Wright.He is survived by step-daughters: Bobbie Ann Niles and Lori Joanna (Eric) Groves; a sister: Cathy (Ricky) Sensing; and several nieces and nephews.
