Edith King

Edith Kaye Gregory King passed away peacefully at her home in Madison, TN on June 26, 2018. She was born in Nashville, TN on September 26, 1947 to Albert and Nell Gregory. She leaves behind her husband of fifty-four years Richard G. King, two daughters Wendy Mena Lopez (husband Charles Lopez), Lisa Warren (husband Dan Warren), five grandchildren - Jude Mena, Jr., Kailey Mena, Selena Smavik, Jackson Mena, and Grace Smavik.Edith lived in Nashville her whole life but loved to travel, especially cruises and spending time in the mountains. Her career was first as a wife and mother. She dedicated her life to her family. She also worked as a bank teller, and as security for local department stores.The family is not holding services at this time. They will plan a celebration of life for friends and family in the next few weeks.The family wishes to thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
