Elinor Saunders

Elinor C Saunders, age 59 of Mt. Juliet, passed away February 2, 2016 following a lengthy illness.She was a native of Northeast Harbor, ME and daughter of the late Clayton and Shirley Woodman Wallace.Above all things, Elinor was a private individual. She surrounded herself with those she loved and cherished those relationships. Growing up in Maine, she had her own seafood business, worked as a wreath maker, creating them by hand, and loved a good game of BINGO. She loved to cook, spend time at garage sales and travelling.She and her husband, Chuck, honeymooned in Hawaii, one of two trips they made there. They also enjoyed one of their last trips to Albuquerque, NM for the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.In addition to her husband: Chuck; Elinor is survived by her sons: Phillip Burgin and Terry (Cherry) Preston; a daughter; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and siblings: Carol (Albert) Hamor, Clayton (Gail) Wallace, Kevin (Jayne) Wallace, and twin sisters.Her family will celebrate her life with private services.
