Emilio Rivero

Emilio Rodríguez Rivero, MD died Saturday night in Nashville. He was suffering from several health complications. A pediatrist, “Dr. E”, as his patients called him, was born in Havana Cuba on July 3rd, 1959. His family moved to Puerto Rico escaping Cuba’s communist regime. There, he graduated from high school at Academia del Pilar and went on to study medicine in the Dominican Republic.Back in San Juan he met Adela Morell who he married on June 26th, 1992. She was the love of his life. Dr. Rodríguez made many friends everywhere he went with his many stories and genuine love of people. Adela and he lived in Tennessee Michigan and Florida. Nothing defines his life better than their devotion to each other to the very end.During his long illness he was cared by Adela and her loving family. He’s survived by his wife Adela in Nashville.
