Forrest Wallace ("Wally") Cato, age 74, passed away on November 23, 2015 at University Medical Center, after a valiant fight with diabetic complications. He was a resident of Lebanon, TN, and formerly a long time resident of Woodstock, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Geneva Cato Gomer and Baker Gleaves Cato; his wife Wanda Dillard Cato; and his sister Peggy Cato Jeffrey. He is survived by his sister and caregiver Betty Cato Atkins, his sister Martha Cato Yokley, a niece and four nephews.Wally was a graduate of Rockwood High School in Rockwood, TN, attended The University of Oxford in Oxford, England, and served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He had a long career in Atlanta in public relations and brand marketing.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Nashville Funeral and Cremation in Nashville, TN. A memorial service for Wally will be held at a later date.
