George Ronald (Ron) Butler

George Ronald (Ron) Butler died November 8, 2023, at age 86. He was born in Florence,
Alabama to George and Lois Butler. He leaves behind daughter: Leslie Ann Butler Mitchell; son-in
law: John Steven Mitchell; granddaughter: Lauren Marie Mitchell; sister: Kathy Butler
Townsend (Scott); and many wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Belinda Ann Wilson Butler; son: George Brian Butler.
He was a graduate of Coffee High School and Florence State, both in Florence, Alabama. He also
received his MBA from the University of Tennessee. He spent his entire career with Ford Motor
Company, the majority as an accountant at the Ford Glass Plant in Nashville, TN.

Ron was a long-time member of Belle Meade United Methodist Church where services will be
held on Monday, November 20 with visitation beginning at 10:00 am and memorial services at
11:00 am.
