Glynda Everett

September 19, 1937 — August 21, 2015

Glynda Collins Ogle Everett age 77, passed away on August 21, 2015 in Lebanon, TN. She was a graduate of Carter High School in Knoxville, TN where she spent most of her life. She loved Tennessee Vols and Titans Football. She loved the time she spent since moving here to Nashville at Heartland Christian Towers Retirement Community with all of her many friends. She would always talk about all the people she loved there and the great times they would have. Her greatest love was her grandkids and her great-grandkids. She wanted to be with them all the time, they were just about all she talked about. Her next great love was Dog The Bounty Hunter and Dog and Beth on the Hunt’s Dog and Beth Chapman. She would not hardly miss an episode except to see her great-grandchildren. She had their T-shirts and all the books Dog Chapman has written. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Collins and Arlie Collins McCubbins of Strawberry Plains, TN; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Jean Marie and Bucky Wick of Saginaw, TX; and Son, Sidney Joe Ogle of Knoxville, TN. She is survived by her Sister; Irene Powell of Knoxville, TN; Ex-Husband but longtime friend, Joe Everett and Daughter Aleta Webb both of Knoxville, TN; Daughter and Son-in-law, Brenda Everett-Osborne and Anthony Osborne of Mt. Juliet, TN. Four Grandchildren; Frankie (Portia) Matthews of Lebanon, TN; Jason (Crystal) Osborne of Columbia, TN, Will and Kendall Coffey of Knoxville. Five Great-Grandchildren; Maddie and Izzy Matthews of Lebanon and Caleb, Grady, and Gracen Osborne of Columbia. Many Cousins, nieces and nephews, many from Knoxville but several from all over.. The family will hold a private memorial on her upcoming birthday. In lieu of flowers, she would want donations to be made to the Middle TN Spina Bifida Association, to the Cerebral Palsy Center of Knoxville, TN or United Cerebral Palsy of Middle TN in her name. Cards/letters can be sent to the home of Brenda and Anthony.
