Gordon Thompson Tanksley, age 53, passed away Saturday morning May 9, 2020 in his sleep. Gordon was born in Nashville, TN on November 30, 1966 to his parents: Brenda Sue, who survives, and Jackie Rhea, who preceded him in death. He was the middle child of 3 children, with two sisters: Peggy Sue (deceased) and Jackie Rhena, who survives. Gordon had two children: Terri Lynn and Jackie Rhea, II; four grandchildren: Aliya, James, Stephanie and Sara; and many cousins. Due to regulations because of COVID-19 private services will be conducted. The family requests that anyone wanting to send flowers have them sent to Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, delivered by noon on Friday, May 15. Friends and family are welcome to visit the grave on Saturday. Gordon was always making people laugh and would give you the shirt off his back, he cared so much for his family, he will be missed by all.
