Harold Leo Jackson, born August 14, 1930, in Vance, Mississippi, made his final journey on January 16, 2015, in Nashville, TN. He spent his early years serving churches in Memphis, TN, Washington DC, and across the United States as a Bible teacher, minister, youth camp director, and church administrator. His passion for helping young adults grew from his time as a Boy Scout. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a member of Troop 48 in Memphis, Tennessee, and continued to be actively in touch with the current members of that troop. He and his wife spent winters in Texas where he enjoyed one-on-one tutoring with students who loved him dearly. He also worked for many years with Nashville Electric Service.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Caraway Jackson, his son, Jeffrey H. Jackson, and wife Ellen Daugherty, as well as two precious grandchildren, Beatrix and Patrick Jackson. Other family members include Marie Caraway and Linda and Steve Binkley and their families, niece Judy Carol Jackson, nephews Louis Leggett, Jr. and Jerry Leggett and their wives Joie and Patty.Harold had great devotion to his Lord Jesus Christ. His relationship with his Savior sustained him throughout this life. He is now experiencing his greatest desire, eternal life.Our hearts cry out for those whose days on earth are done. We’ll meet where God’s eternal praise has always “just begun.”Graveside service and burial will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Mt.
