Jack Harris entered into Heaven after an extended illness on June 7, 2018 surrounded by his family and former wife, Darlene Harris. He was born in Acorn, Ky and raised on a farm near Somerset, Ky and served in the Korean War on the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Boxer. He was a pastor over 40 years in Kentucky and other states for the Church of God of Prophecy and the Assemblies of God. He was a hunter, fisherman, printer, photographer, carpenter, farmer, an avid reader and Biblical scholar and teacher. He is survived by his sons; Darvin Harris (of Clarksville, TN), David Harris (of Erin, TN) and Dreama Ruley (of Franklin, KY). He is survived by 8 grandsons and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Cosetta Smith (of Narrows, VA) and Velma Ezell (of Kingsport, TN).He is proceeded in death by his parents; Taft and Eunice Harris, and his sisters; Carol Faye Harris, Marie Robertson, Melba McCroskey and Esther Saul.
