James Estes

July 30, 1975 — October 13, 2016

James Randell Estes, age 41 of Nashville passed away October 13, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center following a brief illness. Randy was born on June 30, 1975 to the late Lonnie Paul Estes, Sr. and Myra Jane Erwin. He will be remembered for his compassionate, yet uplifting personality. Randy loved to make people smile and laugh and always tried to be encouraging. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ina Jean Cowan. He is survived by his wife and companion, Vanessa Hoard; brother, Lonnie Paul Estes, Jr. III; nieces, Kayla Ortega; nephews, Cody and Nicholas Cowan; and family friends, Elaine Estes, Kathy Young and Preston Goodman. A Memorial Service honoring Randy will be held on Monday, October 17 ^th at 2:00 P.M. from Connell Memorial United Methodist Church, 113 Church Street in Goodlettsville. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
