James L. Gibson (Jim) 70, of West Nashville, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly from end stage C.O.P.D. and cardiopulmonary arrest Friday, May 4, 2018 at Tristar Centennial Hospital. He was born in Mobile, Alabama and has been a resident of Nashville, TN. for over thirty years.Jim is survived by his daughter Heather Kirk, Granddaughter Dawn Parrott, Sister-in-Law Amber Gibson, and Nieces Traci and Terri. Jim was a loving Father, Grand Father, Uncle, Brother, son, significant other and long time Warehouse employee.He was preceded in death his Mother Inez, his Father Robert, his brother Thomas (Tom) and the love of his life, Laura.Jim will be cremated per his wishes at Nashville Funeral and Cremation at 210 McMillin Street Nashville,.TN 37209 and in lieu of flowers, donations can be given to assist with Funeral and Cremation expenses.to his daughter, Heather.We will be having an informal memorial service at Jim’s favorite restaurant, Detail’s will follow for anyone that would like to attend.
