Jayson Matthew Mapes

It is with great sadness that the Mapes family announces the death of Jayson Matthew Mapes. He passed away unexpectedly on August, 29^th surrounded by his wife Brenda, his daughters Reagan, Frankie, and Tatum, his two stepchildren Ryan and Meghan, Mother Janice, Father Dennis, two sisters Carrie and Anna, and his brother Brandon. Jayson was born August 24^th 1970 in Lansing Michigan; he graduated from Negaunee High School and pursued a commercial construction career as a superintendent/foreman. After traveling for many years Jayson wanted to stay home with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He then proceeded a career working in the neighborhood they resided in, in Franklin TN. Here is where Jayson grew to know and help many neighbors with his wonderful craftsmanship.  

Jayson leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile and beautiful eyes.

With great honor Jayson gave life to others by being an organ donor. We will miss him more than words can express. His family will hold a private memorial in his honor.
