John Hession, Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of John Joseph Hession, Jr. (‘Jack") announces his passing on January 3, 2021, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Jack is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Michael; Joseph's wife, Michelle; his three grandchildren, Kaela, Jacob and Sophia; his former wife, Sherry Fiddle Hession; and his sister Rosmarie and her husband, Bill; and his nephews and niece, Kim, William, Kevin, and Tim. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Sr. and Margaret Hession; and one sister, Margaret ("Peggy").John was an electrical engineer and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, for which he was a life-long fan of Big Blue basketball. Before attending college, Jack served in the Army both in active duty and in the reserves for six years, from 1959-1965. He and his kindness and loyalty to family and friends will be deeply missed.John will be laid to rest on January 25, 2021, at the Nashville National Cemetery, at 11:00am.
