Johnnie R. Burroughs, age 87 of Nashville born April 24, 1931 passed away March 3, 2019. Preceded in death by father, Nathan Winters, and mother Nellie Mai Clifton Burroughs; Sons, Johnny R. Jr. and Jeffery Lynn Burroughs; Daughter, Patricia Haddix, Step-Daughter Sherrye Marie Graves; Granddaughter, Jaclyn Matthews; Grandson, Joshua Burroughs. 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Johnnie is survived by wife Linda(Pettit) Graves Burroughs; sons, Joe(Gina), Jimmy(Deborah) and David(Wendy) Burroughs; step-sons John, James, and Jeffrey Graves. He is survived by 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Brother, Jimmy Burroughs, sister, Madaline Toombs. Half- brother George Burroughs and half- sister Bonnie Jones. Many Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services for Johnnie will be at 1p.m. Monday March, 11th at Eastwood Baptist Church, 1229 McGavock Pike Nashville Tn ,37216. Visitation with the family starts at 11:00am and will end at service time. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Thompson Lane. Service conducted by Bro. Buddy Jarrell and Bro. N.
