Ms. Joyce Yvonne Simpson, age 66 of Nashville, entered into the arms of her Savior on February 16, 2015.She was born in Nashville on August 6, 1948 to Herman and Ora Elizabeth Williams Simpson.Joyce was devoted to her family and children, and to her career with the State of Tennessee as an Administrative Assistant. Her unique style led her through life's adventures with the ability, and desire, to try new things.Many people talk about the joy of trying different foods, but Joyce was a self-proclaimed "foodie." She loved the opportunity to try something new, and with her open-minded and flexible attitude, she always took that chance.Joyce cherished the time and experiences she had with friends and family.Above all, Joyce's memory will be cherished for her naturally beautiful personality and devotion to those around her.She is survived by her children: Clinton Derrick Pierce, Danna Simpson and Donna Simpson; a sister: Letha Favors; brother: Leon Simpson; numerous grandchildren and extended family members.Her family will gather together in a private service to celebrate her life.NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION 615-256-1605
