June Anton

June Elizabeth Anton, age 91 of Mt. Juliet, passed away on VJ Day, August 15, 2015.Born June 2, 1924 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of Flora Sophia Hesford and Edgar Burns Hesford.June spent her whole life loving people. She had many "children" around the country who adopted her as their second mother! Words are unable to describe her selfless, unconditional love she showed every day. She was a prayer warrior and a wise woman.She also loved the 1940's - the music, the dancing, the clothes! Though their hearts are broken, family finds comfort knowing that if there is dancing in Heaven, June is now doing the "Jitterbug".Now reunited in eternity, June was preceded in death by her parents: Flora and Edgar; brothers: Robert Burns Hesford and David Victor Hesford; sisters: Mary Jane Hesford, Elsie Faye Hesford and Janeitha Ellen Hesford; her wonderful and loving son: Lon Lee Carsrud; and precious grandson: Benji Paul Carsrud. Additionally, she is reunited with her husband: Ardel Glenn Anton who has awaited her arrival since his death on March 15, 1992.She is survived by her daughter: Kimberly Anton; stepchildren: William Anton and Kathi Theil; grandchildren: Shane Carsrud, Tim Carsrud, Nate Carsrud, Tyler Anton and Kandice Rumsey; step-grandchildren: Jason Dozier, Anjali Rumsey, and Zack Rumsey; great-grandchildren: Gracie Carsrud, Allison Carsrud, Kerri Carsrud, Meghan Carsrud, Blake Carsrud, Alekzander Anton and Aria Anton; and step-great-grandchild: Anjalina Mathis.
