Karen Elaine Arend

December 16, 1963 — August 30, 2024

Bristol, TN

Karen Elaine Arend made her debut on December 16th, 1963. She grew up alongside of her two older brothers, and boy did she give them a run for their money.

Karen was bubbly, outgoing, and could talk to anyone. She made fast friends out of strangers and offered everyone a smile.

She was a jack of all trades. Karen loved crafting, creating, and writing. She even had a poem published in a coffee table book one time.

She loved to travel and explore new areas. Mountains, beaches, or the desert, she loved it all.

She loved laughing, dancing, and singing. Her voice was beautiful. Karen was truly full with the spark of life and grabbed everything by the horns. She was a fighter and went toe to toe with many medical issues and came out a victor.

Out of all of the things Karen did, though, the things that were the most important to her were being a daughter, a sister, and a mother.

Karen is preceded in death by her stepfather Glen, her brother Rick, her uncles Jim, Cliff, and Dale, grandbaby Gus, and her cousin Mitzy.

She is mourned by her mother, Shirley, father, Bob, stepmother Sue, brother Rob, daughter Sarah, son in law Josh, stepdaughter Elizabeth, her dog Savannah, and numerous other family members and friends.

We love you, Karen.
