Karen Hoyal

Hoyal, Karen Sue Age 60 of Kingston Springs, TN. June 12,2013. She was born August 27, 1952 and was a beloved mother to Sara Lorenz and Julia Hoyal. Step-daughter of Frank Empson; also survived by brother, Michael Scruggs; sisters, Peggy Patterson and Barbara Dorris, she also leaves behind many family members and dear friends. Sue was a Pharmacist for Walgreens for 30+ years, working primarily at the Charlotte Pike and Dickson locations. An adventurer, Sue loved to travel with her daughters and attained her scuba diving certification at the age of 58 to dive with the family on a trip to Mexico. She loved gardening, cheering on her Titans, and being the best mother to her children. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday June 15th at the home of her daughter Sara (7221 Westcott Drive Nashville, TN 37221) from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
