Lawrence (Larry) Joseph DiRosa, 67, traveled to his eternal rest among the islands in the stars. His final sunset was from his home on August 22, 2019.Born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 25, 1952, Larry was the oldest of four children born to Joseph and Antoinette DiRosa.Larry is survived by his wife, Khristie Stoecklein, his dog, Socks, and his mother, Antoinette (Alagna) DiRosa. He is also survived by his sister, Jo-Ann DiRosa (Raymond Lupoli), brothers, Peter and Joseph (Barbara) DiRosa, nephews, Jason and Matthew Hegeman, nieces, Catherine, Tina and Marialana DiRosa and great niece, Gabriella.Larry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph DiRosa, his mother-in-law, Reba Stoecklein Osborne, fathers-in-law, Bernard Stoecklein and Hershel Osborne and sister-in-law, Lana Hagedorn.Larry is also survived by his in-laws, Wayne Osborne (Jerry), Teresa Gilbert (Eddie), Bill Hagedorn (Clarice Shriver), Barb Bogie, Donna Block (Rick), Toni Cordio, Kevin Stoecklein (Ronda) and Philip Stoecklein. On this extended family side, he is survived by 11 nieces, 9 nephews and at last count, 29 great nieces and nephews.Larry graduated from St. Anthony's High School in 1970 and served his country in the National Guard. His photography career brought him to Nashville where he met Khristie and took some very iconic photos of the Nashville music community.Flowers are not necessary, but please feel free to give to Gilda's Club of Nashville, Alive Hospice, the Kidney Cancer Foundation or the American Red Cross.
