Lee Fesler

September 21, 1960 — September 17, 2019

Lee Fesler, age 58 of Nashville, passed away while working in Champagne, IL on September 17, 2019. Lee was born in Nashville on September 21, 1960 and was the son of the late Wayne David Fesler and Jean Diane Hannah. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael and Steven. Lee is survived by his wife: Joyce; and two sons: Caleb (Brittany) Fesler and Ethan (Devon Boyce) Fesler; a brother: Ted Cossitt; sister: Leann (Scott) Miller; two grandchildren: Michael and Kaylie; and nieces: Sarah, Olivia and Rachel. Lee was a graduate of Belmont University and completed his Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He went on to pastor churches in Tennessee and Kentucky. His faith carried him through everything he faced in life. It was that same faith, and love for his Lord, that made him the father he was. His sons state that he was a "good father who was supportive at all times." He would do anything for his boys and was proud to always be a part of their lives. When he met Joyce, it was obvious they were meant for each other. They were truly the love of each other's lives. He enjoyed music and was an accomplished guitar player. Lee also sang with the worship teams at church and was a Christian example to his friends and family. There was a time when he golfed, but always enjoyed UT Football. Over the past eight years he was an OTR Driver and enjoyed every trip. His final journey was to the Champagne, IL area where he passed away. His family simply stated, "He was doing what he loved." To celebrate Lee's life, the family will gather with friends from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 25 th at Silver Springs Baptist Church for visitation. A celebration service will begin at noon, with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon.
