Lionel Duckworth, Jr. Sunrise April 1, 1956 and Sunset October 6, 2018. Lionel passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Lionel and Shirley Duckworth, also by his daughter Trish Dukes.Lionel leaves to grieve his Wife, Sandra Jones-Duckworth, three brothers: Kenny (Paula) Duckworth, Isaiah Duckworth and Michael Duckworth, four sisters: Deborah (Thomas) Dilworth, Carla Duckworth, Shirley (Maurice) Colver, and Clara Duckworth. Three children: Lionel Duckworth III, Tiffany (Ramon) Gladney and Noel (Delilah) Duckworth, four step-children: Latrice Jones, Anthony (Shalonda) Jones, Eric Jones, Inita (Reggie) Wells and ex-wife: Nassomi Shakari. 10 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He was a very dedicated martial arts Instructor and Sensei. Lionel wanted nothing more than to show his love of martial arts to everyone that he knew. He was introduced to God at a young age and loved praying for and with others. Lionel graduated from Devry University with a certificate in Electronics. One of the things he will be remembered for is calling loved ones and friends every morning. He was a loving and caring person, devoted dad, husband, sensei, brother, uncle and friend, always thinking of others first.“To know him was to love him.”
