Lloyd Allen Cannon, age 78, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2019.A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Gospel United Missionary
Baptist Church located at 3700 Fairview Drive, Nashville Tennessee at 7:00pmLloyd was born in Nashville, Tennessee on May 3, 1941, the parents of Hubert Costello Cannon and Katherine Hill.He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Lewis) Cannon, daughters Lakeisha Cannon, Sharonda Cannon, Rhonda Gardner, Deborah Gardner, Karen Cunningham and Jada Leachman and sons, Marcus Gardner and Michael Gardner. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Eloise Witherspoon and Peggy Pride, as well as 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. It is important to note two of his life-long friends who survive him death, Robert Douglas and Ed Washington. Lloyd was precede by death by his parents, sister Martha Reynolds, and his brother Hubert Cannon.Lloyd graduated from Pearl High School. Served honorably the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired from AVCO Technologies as an Aviation Machinist.Lloyd loved golfing, bowling, fishing, hunting and most of all telling a good story.The military service will be held at a later date.
