It is with great sadness the family of Lori Gail Martin, age 55, announce she fell asleep peacefully, surrounded by family on January 3, 2020. Born June 24, 1964, Lori was a native Nashvillian and long-term resident of Lebanon, Tennessee. Lori worked as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for over 20 years in home health and school settings where she was praised for her skill and patience with an uncanny ability to teach individuals to scribe words.Lori's boisterous personality and infectious laugh will forever be remembered by her loving daughters Lindsay Graham and Sara (Graham) Huddleston. She is also survived by her favorite Son-in-Law Richard "Ricky" Huddleston. Known for her ability to always be fashionably late, Lori added humor and light to every family gathering. A frequent salutation, "Lori Gail" was uttered by her devoted Mother, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Winnett. Lori and her Mother shared a dedicated bond and enjoyed spending time with one another frequently. Father, Ronald Martin, predeceased Lori in 2001 and left an indelible mark on his daughter. Step-father Marvin "Blackie" Winnett was always adored and appreciated by Lori.Lori was incredibly proud to be the Nonnie to her Grandchildren; Elsie Ruth, Richard Marshall, and Murphy James Huddleston. She was always engaged with her grandchildren and her love for them was undeniably evident. Lori was survived by her siblings; Randy Martin, Jason Martin, Susie (Martin) Aguilar and husband Omar Aguilar, and James Elwin Duncan Martin.Lori enjoyed nurturing her nieces, Brandy and Jackie Martin, and great-nieces Emerald and Riley. She was preceded in death by her matriarch and grandmother, Ida Faye "Ruth" Sanders. Lori was also loved and will be missed by her Uncle and Aunt, Richard "Dick and Toni Glisson and many cousins from Oklahoma. Lori had confidence in her redemption through the Lord Jesus Christ and God's faithfulness regarding her inheritance laid up above.Lori's life will be celebrated on January 8, 2020 at Today's Victory Ministries located at 121 East Ave., Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072. Service will begin at 11am, with visitation before and after the service. Lunch will immediately follow the service. Please feel free to arrive anytime during our Celebration of Life.
