Margaret Cheniae

Margaret Rachel Clark Cheniae, age 87 of Nashville, passed away February 7, 2016.She is survived by her children: Margaret Rachel Cheniae (Jory) Johnson, Audrey Ann Cheniae (Joe) Gramelspacher and Michael George (Mary) Cheniae; 5 grandchildren: Devin and Adina Johnson, Max and Maria Gramelspacher, and Clairisse Cheniae.Rachel was born in Johnston, SC. She earned her BA in 1949 from Winthrop College and her MA in 1951 from Wesleyan University. She met her husband, George Maurice Cheniae (dec. 8/2001), at Oak Ridge laboratories when they both worked there.A loving mother and grandmother, Rachel will be missed by family and friends.
