Martha Lamprecht

NASHVILLE – Martha G. Lamprecht ” Marty”, age 71, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2019. Marty was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Gilbert, her mother, Betty Gunn Weber, and her brother, Charles W. Gilbert Jr. Marty’s life will be remembered by her husband of 41 years, J. Lee Lamprecht of Nashville, her brother, Jeff Gilbert of Camp Verde, AZ and family and friends.Marty grew up in Hinsdale, lL, graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, lN, and earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Phoenix, AZ where she met her husband, Lee.She had a career in business management and office systems at Maryland National Bank, BP Corporation, Cleveland OH, and American General and BMI in Nashville.Marty loved her adopted city of Nashville for the last 32 years and attending its many music venues. She was known for her drive and passion in all of her activities and friendships.Her wishes were to have a private celebration of life.In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Belcourt.org or the Nashville Symphony
