Martha Parks

Mrs. Martha Dean Parks, age 65, passed at her home in Antioch TN on Thursday, November 8, 2019.
Born on January 22, 1954 in Fayetteville, TN. to parents Eugene & Lois Goodrich-Hampton (D). She was the youngest of 10 siblings. She was educated by the Lincoln county school district. She married Jimmy Parks on June 7, 1969. In 1970 she dedicated her life to Jehovah. In 1975 along with her husband and family she moved to Hohenwald TN to serve where the need was great. Martha went on the become a certified interpreter for the hearing impaired in the Davidson county school district, Martha was also a talented seamstress.Martha is survived by husband of 50 years Jimmy Parks; children, Mickey L Parks, Stacie L (Michael) Reeves, Leah A Parks, Dathan L. Parks Sr, Mesha D. Parks, Marcus T. (Ronise) Parks; Grand children, Mariah A. Parks, Ebone J. Gaines, Dathan L. Parks Jr, Aiden D.C. Parks, Kadence R. Parks, Eshton T. Parks, Adeline R. Parks, Imani M Parks; Great Grand Daughter, Jalaya J. Gaines; Brothers/Sisters, Nancy (Charles) Edmiston (D), Lois Jean (Joe Louis) Hampton (D), Mattie (Ernest) Edmiston, Bernetta (Herbert) Stewart, Theodora Edmiston, John Henry (Rachel) Hampton, Thomas (Bessie) Hampton, James Hampton, Norman Hampton, and a host of brothers, sisters in law, nephews/nieces and close friends.
