Maureen Gregory

Maureen Daly Gregory, age 66 passed away July 2, 2016 at her residence in Mt. Juliet.A native of the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Alice G. Daly. She retired as an Insurance Claims Assistant and was a member of the Catholic Church.Maureen is survived by her husband: Robert Gregory; two sons: Robert (Shanelle) Gregory and Ryan (Marie) Gregory; and three grandsons: Nolan, Gavin and Patrick Gregory.Maureen loved classic sit-coms and movies. She enjoyed the “Honeymooners” and “I Love Lucy”, and spent time working crossword puzzles.She was fiercely proud of her Irish-Italian heritage and embraced the culture of her New York background. She loved the era of Camelot during the Kennedy years and idolized the style and manners of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Above all, Maureen had a passion for her grandchildren and her family.Maureen’s family will celebrate her life with a funeral mass on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the St. Stephen Catholic Church, 14544 Lebanon Rd, Old Hickory, TN 37137. Private interment services will take place at Nashville National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Monroe Carell Jr, Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, 2200 Children’s Way, Nashville, TN 37232.
