Melinda Hill

Surrounded by her loving family, Melinda Ruth Hill, age 47 of Goodlettsville, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her parents’ home.Born March 27, 1968 in Madison, TN, Melinda was the daughter of Richard and Patricia Neely Sutton.Melinda was a woman of faith. While serving in the mission field in the Marshall Islands she met David Hill. They were married in 1992 and spent the remaining years of their lives together serving others, sharing their faith, and raising their family. Though trained as a professional nurse, Melinda used her talents for educating others–first in the classroom and then homeschooling their children.When faced with a serious health challenge early this year, she met it with grace and dignity, trusting that God would bring good out of this difficult experience. (Romans 8:28)Celebrating her life and mourning her passing, she is survived by her husband: David; children: Jonathan and Kathryn Hill; brothers: Mike and Marty Sutton; and parents: Richard and Patricia Sutton.A celebration of Melinda’s life is planned for September 26 at 4:30 P.M. at the Ridgetop Seventh-day Adventist Church.
