Neth Praeger

Gwen Praeger of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away August 22, at the age of 73.Gwen was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Herman Albert Praeger and Joyce Praeger (nee Dunnica). Her father's position in the U.S. Army took the family to many states and abroad.A graduate of the University of Kansas, Gwen went on to obtain a Masters of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She began her professional career as a medical lab technician for a private laboratory in Houston, Texas, before moving to Nashville where she worked for the Veteran's Affairs hospital until her retirement.An avid equestrian, Gwen enjoyed riding and caring for her horses. She traveled extensively, documenting her adventures through another interest of hers, photography.Gwen is survived by numerous family and friends who will always remember her vibrant spirit and animated laugh.Private memorial services will be held at future dates in Kansas and Tennessee. Her ashes will be interred at Rose Hill Cemetery outside Claflin, Kansas. The family is grateful for condolences, but respectfully declines flowers and donations. www.CallNFC.com
