Norma Downs-Facenda

Norma "Pinky" Downs-Facenda, age 74 of Sparta, TN, entered the kingdom of heaven on November 2 ^nd , 2016 while a resident of Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. She was born October 23, 1942, in Bucks County, PA to the late Earnest Norman Downs and Beryl E. Yerkes.She spent the majority of her life, caring for others as an LPN nurse, first at Doylestown Hospital in PA and later at Cookeville General and also White County Hospital. Her favorite floor to be stationed was the nursery, while caring for the newborn babies.She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph J. Facenda, her children Patrick and his wife Jennifer, Keith and his wife Amie and Amanda Zia and her husband Will along with her six beautiful, grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister Janice Vasta and her son Eric Gorman.Burial will be held Saturday, December 3 ^rd 2016 at Whitemarsh Memorial Gardens at 10:30am. The Memorial Gardens are located at 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.A special thanks to Alive Hospice for their kindness and gentle care.We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
