Norman Gendron

June 21, 1957 — January 18, 2020

Norman James Gendron passed away on January 18, 2020 in Nashville Tennessee. He was born in Lewiston, Maine to Joseph and Elizabeth Gendron on 6/21/1957. Norman was a resident of Nashville, TN for the pasted two years. Prior to that, he spent many years in the Tampa / St. Petersburg, Florida area. Norman graduated from C. Leon King High School in Tampa, Florida. He worked in a variety of industries and was always available to help others when a need arose. As an adult, he was an active member of Incarnation Catholic Church in Tampa, Florida for many years. Upon moving to Nashville, he joined Vertical Life Church, participated in Bible Studies, and was active with their community outreach program. Norman was always willing to lend a hand to others and was the first to show up when help was needed. He had an affinity for working with the elderly and worked providing home care for many of the elderly in need. He was a registered organ donor and even in death was able to give life to others in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Norman is predeceased in death by his parents, two aunts and two uncles. Norman is survived by three siblings and their spouses; Joseph (Kate) Gendron of Warsaw, IN, John G. (Debbie) Gendron of Cranberry Township, PA, and Catherine A.(Tara) Beale of Weeki Wachee, FL. His family would like to thank Vanderbilt University Hospital for the excellent care that was provided to Norman and assistance to his family members at the end of his life. Also thank you to Pastor Hilton and his congregation for the family support and their fellowship with Norman while he lived in Tennessee. Memorial Service in Nashville, Tennessee will be on February 9, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Vertical Life Church at Coleman Park Center, 384 Thompson Ln, Nashville TN. Memorials may be made in Normans name to a charity of choice. A memorial service is being planned in Tampa / St Petersburg Florida in mid-June.
