Pamela Griffin

Pam Griffin, 63, passed away May 22, 2016, at Alive Hospice. She was a daughter of the late Wright Carter and Lois Sawyer Stevens. A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, Pam graduated from Science Hill High School and East Tennessee State University. She moved to Nashville and worked as a court recorder in Franklin for ten years. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989, she had a stem cell transplant six years later; she fought courageously against the disease for twenty-six years.Pam is survived by her husband, Peter Griffin, Bellevue, and their son, Colin, Nashville. Preceded in death by her sister, Karen Stevens, she is survived by her sister, Toni Stevens, Gallatin; her brothers, Wright Carter (Karen) Stevens, Jr., Gray, and Cort (Lisa) Stevens, Johnson City; and eight nieces and nephews.A private family service will be held at a future date.NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION, 615-256-1605
