Paul Buford Campbell, Sr., 86, passed on Friday, February 10, 2017, 2:01pm at Alive Hospice located in Nashville. He was a native Nashvillian. He was preceded in death by his caring parents, William and Lena Campbell; sisters: Claudia Mae Johnson, Mattie B. Ray, Dollie Neeley, and Cleora Johnson; brothers: James Campbell, Charles Campbell, William Campbell and John Campbell, Sr.; daughters: Annie Shelton and Candice White; sons: Paul Buford Campbell, Jr. and Rodney Joe Campbell, Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Annette Hanna-Campbell. Children: James Lawrence, Larry Campbell, Sr., Virgie Campbell, Rosalind Black, Lena (Darren) Boleyjack, Paul Shelton, Nicole Griffith, Emire and Robert Jones, Donald White; sister-in-law: Veleria Campbell; and a host of grands, great-grands, great-great grands, nieces, nephews and friends. He was educated in the metro public schools; retired from Ford Glass Plant in 1987. Just two years ago he retired again, from his enjoyable lawn-care service. Paul proudly served in the United States Army, 1951-1953.
