Paul Kent “Effie” Kitchen, age 57 passed away March 26, 2018.
Paul would like for you to know that his work here is done on earth. You see, he received a call from God, and he gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. This assignment he won't be returning from, and it comes with a huge sign on bonus! Jesus, a reunion with family, and friends he hasn't seen in a few years. The job security in Heaven is 110 %. His new mission takes him to a place where it's okay to love not only the Tennessee Volunteers, but the Kentucky Wildcats at the same time. He always longed for this acceptance - Don't we all? He will enjoy frequent flag football games, time with family, and because he and Jesus share their wonderful skill of carpentry - I am pretty sure they will build something together. He left detailed instructions for his wife, children, family, and friends to celebrate his mission that has now been completed on here on earth. He instructs that you celebrate his new mission with spreading the love, humor, and joy he always tried so desperately to show himself.
Family services will be conducted Friday March 30, 2018 at Donelson View Baptist Church, 2049 Lebanon Pike at 2:00pm. Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the church. Brother Charles Martin will be officiating the funeral.
