Randy Moore

Randy Baines Moore, age 45 of Murfreesboro, passed from this life into eternity on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his residence.Randy was born May 26, 1969 in Chicago, IL and was the son of the late Lenton Moore and Annie Mae Baines Moore. For a brief time he served his country in the United States Army.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: LeRoy Moore. Left to cherish and honor his memory are his wife: Tara Mintz Moore; four children: Brianna Baines Moore, Tonya Nicole Moore, Richard Lawrence Michael (Sarah) Mintz and Merriah Inez Mintz; three precious grandchildren: Maci Lynn Mintz, Madalynn Merriah Mintz and Maddux Manivong; siblings: Lela Denson, Lenton (Deborah) Moore, Jr, Kenneth Moore, Eileen Moore and twin-brother: Raymond (Jalisa) Moore. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.Randy will be best remembered for his sense of humor. He always had something funny to say and loved a good joke. During his life he mastered the art of sarcasm.He enjoyed any type of sports, but especially favored basketball. He was known to spend time fishing and going to car shows.Above all, Randy was a simple man who loved his family. No matter the situation, though he would be plain spoken with his thoughts, he always thought of others first. He was not easily angered, but never held a grudge either. He cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren. His gentle, kind spirit will be missed by those who loved him so dearly.Randy's family will celebrate his life on Friday, May 29 at Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 1004 S. Dickerson Rd, Goodlettesville, TN with a home-going celebration beginning at 12:00 Noon.
