Robert Mills

Bob Mills, age 78, of Nashville entered into The Lord’s heavenly home on March 27,2015. He was born to the late Paul and Elizabeth Mills, July 24,1936, in Bellwood, Pennsylvania. He married Diane Guy Mills in 1972, and they lived together in Blasdell New York before relocating to Nashville Tennessee. Bob was known for his love of cars, which all started at a young age when he became interested in racing stock cars and became well known as PeeWee Mills driving car #35. In addition he was actively involved in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of boaters on Buffalo’s waterfront. As an EMT and firefighter working with the Newton Abbott Fire Department he served his community with great pride knowing he was helping others in their time of need. After moving to Nashville his passion for cars continued, when he purchased a 1952 Chevy, which he restored to its original glory and prided himself for the many trophies and awards he had won. Bob’s love for GOD was obvious throughout his life, evidenced by his continuous dedication to helping others and will be missed by all those he touched.Bob is survived by his beloved wife Diane Guy Mills; sisters: Barbara (Virgil) Kiser, of Pennsylvania; Florence (Larry) Burton, of Pennsylvania; loving father to Tamara (Timothy) Sutkowski, of New York; William (Marlene) Mills, of Florida; Robin (Doug) Moore, of Indiana; Proud Papa to grand children Elizabeth Howell, of Indiana; Michael Mills, of Florida; Courtney (Justin) Smith, of Indiana; Robert Mills, of Florida; Danielle Sutkowski, of New York; Stephanie Moore, of Indiana; Mackenzie Moore, of Indiana; and great grand children Brayden Mills, of Indiana; Adalynn Howell, of Indiana; and another yet to be born this fall. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother Paul Mills; sisters Helen Taylor; Janet Hoegel; Darlene Barony; and children John and Colleen Mills.
